Melcom Group of companies donated hospital / blood bank fridges to 25 health facilities in the country. The handing over was done on Wednesday July 31, 2024 at Melcom mall in spintex.
Notable among the health facilities were 37 Military hospital, Police hospital, Tema General hospital, Hohoe Government hospital, Upper East and West hospitals etc.

The NBS, appreciated the strategic partnership with Melcom Group of Companies. Melcom received a plaque for placing as 2nd best Corporate body that contributes to voluntary blood donations and a citation on their tremendous support and collaborations towards voluntary blood collections.

Dr Shirley Owusu- Ofori, CEO of National Blood Service commended them for their efforts and used the opportunity to call on other corporate bodies to emulate the gesture.
