She delivered a speech in which she stated that the National Blood Service has relied on the generosity, compassion, and civic spirit of thousands of voluntary blood donors for the past 25 years. “The event serves as a reminder that ensuring a safe and adequate blood supply begins with education, particularly among our youth,” she explained.

She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Ghana Education Service and Senior High Schools for their unwavering support in encouraging voluntary blood donation. “Your participation continues to shape the next generation of lifesavers”, she declared.

The CEO praised the Rotary Club of Accra and Accra Ridge for their long-standing support of the National Blood Service, which has promoted voluntary donations, supported outreaches, and saved countless lives. He also encouraged and praised the quiz contestants’ enthusiasm for voluntary blood donation.

Mr. Dan Afari Yeboah, the quizmaster for the occasion, welcomed everyone and spoke about the importance of voluntary blood donation. To commemorate their victory, the audience expressed heartfelt appreciation and applause at the end of the event.
