National Blood Service Presents First Aid Items to Osudoku Senior High Technical School

NBS presents first aid items to Osudoku Senior High Technical School

As part of its social responsibility initiatives, the National Blood Service (NBS) has presented selected supplies to support the first aid needs of staff and students of Osudoku Senior High Technical School sick bay.

The items which were presented at the premises of NBS on July 28th, 2025 include; infrared thermometer, syringe and needles, gauze rolls, cotton roll, bandage, plaster, dressing trays, gallipots, dressing drum, and other accompanied instruments.

In her statement, the Chief Executive Officer of NBS, Dr. Shirley Owusu-Ofori stated that, as an organization which priorities safe and adequate blood and blood products to patients who require blood transfusion therapy in private and public health care institutions, the NBS values the continued collaboration it plays with Osudoku Senior High Technical school and remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote health and well-being within the community.

‘It is our hope that the items provided will contribute meaningfully to addressing the school’s first aid requirements’, she noted.

The senior prefect, Master Tachie Foster Amoah who was part of the representatives of the school, expressed gratitude to NBS and assured that the items would be put in good use to benefit every student who will need any first aid treatment.
